Each student will receive an NRA student packet containing an excellent NRA student handbook, a completion certificate, several brochures and PGC prepared handouts. Students will bring seat cushion, eye protection, notebook and pen/pencil, lunch and drinks (non-alcoholic) to the classroom.
Normally the class is limited to 8 students. The first half of the day will be spent with classroom instruction and the second half with demonstrations and hands on exercises. Students pair up into reader/worker teams, taking turns practicing each step of the reloading process. You will be loading five .308 Winchester and five 45 ACP cartridges. The PGC will provide all cartridge components. The classroom ammunition will be disassembled after each class. This class uses single stage presses and will teach you the reloading fundamentals necessary to reload safely and make decisions on what equipment to buy. There is an exam at the end of the day. You can use your notes and any provided training material to take the exam.
