IDPA DECEMBER NEWS

Our regular match date on December 18, 2010 will feature the National 2010 IDPA Postal Match. This is a match with standardized stages that IDPA clubs may participate in. Scores are sent into IDPA HQ and you are ranked among national and international shooters in the division and classification that you shot in.

You must be classified to have your match score submitted to IDPA HQ. If you have recently applied to join IDPA and have not yet received your IDPA ID number, you may shoot the match, but your score cannot be submitted to IDPA HQ.

If you have already shot one club IDPA match, but have not applied for IDPA membership, IDPA rules prevent you from shooting any further IDPA club matches without joining IDPA.

We will also have a B.U.G. "Side Stage" on December 18 that match participants may shoot after completing the 2010 Postal Match. Shooters may only use a gun meeting IDPA BUG criteria* and their weapon can only be loaded with 5 rounds.

*Back Up Gun (BUG) = .32 caliber or larger and semi-auto barrel of 3.8" or less and revolver barrel of 3" or less.
