The Parris Island / Palmetto Gun Club FallInvitational Highpower Approved Match and Service Rifle Championship

The Palmetto Gun Club of Charleston S.C. is proud to sponsor a 100 shot approved match, to be held at the Inchon Range at Parris Island S.C. on October 12
th 2002. This will be the second match held at Parris Island this year. The first was a great success.Pre-registration is mandatory for this match, and only those who have done so will be allowed on base. If competitors wish to have family or a friend attend they must include their information with the registration, and they must travel in their vehicle onto the base.
Registration deadline is October 5th, 2002, as many as 100 shooters can be accommodated. The following restrictions will be placed on the match due to Marine Corps Regulations.
a.) Only .223 cal rifles may be used. Either match rifles, or service rifles.
b.) Only commercial ammo (included in the match fee) may be fired. 115 rounds of Federal 77 grain Match ammunition will be provided to each competitor.
c.) Rifles to be used in this match must be transported in the trunk of the vehicle that is listed on the registration form.
d.) NO AMMO should be brought on base. Ammo will be provided.
This will be an NRA Approved 100 shot course of fire at 200, 300, 500yds.
Squadding and scorecards will be issued starting at 0630. There will be a pre-match meeting at 0730.The match will begin at 0800.

Registration must be post marked no later than October 5th, 2002.
