Welcome to Palmetto Gun Club – IDPA

What is IDPA?

The International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) is the governing body of a shooting sport that simulates self-defense scenarios and real-life encounters.

What makes IDPA unique is that it’s designed for the new or average shooter, while still being fun, challenging, and rewarding for experienced competitors. The main goal is to test your skill and ability under pressure in practical, defensive-style stages.

At Palmetto Gun Club IDPA, our goal is simple: help every member build skill and confidence in a safe, supportive environment. Whether you’re brand new or a seasoned shooter, IDPA has a place for you!

Palmetto Gun Club’s IDPA matches are held on the 3rd Saturday of each month.
